| Don Johnson |
Don Johnson, Assistant Superintendent of Photography for the Western Idaho Fair. Don Johnson grew up with cameras and darkrooms in the film era and embraced the transition to digital technology shortly after its advent. He received formal photography training at Boise State and Brooks Institute of Photography before embarking on a business career path, which led him across the USA and around the world before returning full-time to his first love, the camera. His work has earned national and local awards and can be found gracing the walls of local establishments, including St. Luke's Medical Center, St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, Idaho Central Credit Union branches, and others. Don provides fine art, portrait, event, and architectural services through Arrowrock Photography, and large event photography and skills training through Sawtooth Photo Pros LLC. He is a former President of the Camera Club of Eagle and has managed a popular biweekly Photo Assignment group on Facebook for over 12 years. Paul Pulley, Superintendent of Photography for the Western Idaho Fair since 2016. In 2015, Paul was the Assistant Superintendent of Photography for the Western Idaho Fair. Paul’s formal photography training was in Boise State University's Fine Arts Photography Department and at the Rochester Institute of Technology's Professional Photography program in Rochester, New York. Long-time member of the Boise Camera Club, the Columbia Council of Camera Clubs, Hewlett-Packard Photography Club, the Idaho Photography Workshop, the Treasure Valley Camera Club (Paul is a founding member) (formerly called the Camera Club of Eagle), Sawtooth Photo Pros, and founder of Idaho Photographic Arts. Clients have included, Hewlett-Packard Company, Ballet Idaho, Boise State University Sports, The City of Boise, Idaho Botanical Gardens, Idaho Department of Corrections, Rocky Mountain Football League, the Idaho Mustangs Football Team, Komen Race for the Cure, Florida International University, Spartan Race, the Race to Robie Creek, plus various non-profit groups and organizations. | Robert Riddle | Robert Riddle, Assistant Superintendent of Photography for the Western Idaho Fair. Since 2016, Robert Riddle has been involved directly with the Western Idaho Fair Photography Department, and prior to that as a volunteer. Robert has been an active self-taught professional photographer for almost twenty years. A Denver native, he moved to Boise in 1977. Robert is a member of the Photo Venture Camera Club (Indianapolis), Florida Center for Creative Photography (Tampa), and since 2011, Boise Camera Club. Robert has taught workshops, made several presentations for the Boise Camera Club, and served as their Print Chairman. He has photographed for the Boise Farmer's Market, The Color Run, Treefort, Spartan Races (NW), Ballet Idaho, and Boise State University Pavilion. Independent freelance photography work includes work in Boise, Indianapolis (IN), Nashville (TN) and Macau, China.
