Sandra Baumgarten is a classically trained pianist and choir conductor. Her training as a pianist began when she was 8 years old, leading her to perform and compete nationally and internationally while also earning her Bachelor of Music degree and continuing in graduated studies. In 2003, she was offered a position as a choir conductor, where she fell in love with choral directing and has been in the field ever since. She has conducted church choirs, community choirs, and college choirs and founded the Vancouver Light Opera Theater. She currently accompanies the youth choir at St. Mark's and teaches private piano and voice lessons. She is a firm believer that anyone can, and should, sing! |
