Course Description

This course will focus on the use of Digital Single Lens Reflex cameras and the use of the most basic components contained in the camera menu. The class will also introduce the use of manual settings such as aperture and shutter speeds for exposures. The basic concepts of composition, color and use of light will also be discussed. Please bring DSLR or film SLR cameras and specific user guide/manual for camera to classes. User guides and manuals can usually be found and downloaded online by searching for make and model of camera. The owners guide/manual is an important part of the classwork.
