NOTE: THIS CLASS IS FOR PEOPLE ONLY - no dogs! If you are attending class at a Boise Schools location, a Community Ed site coordinator will be at the entrance to direct you to your classroom. Community Education classes MIGHT be cancelled due to inclement weather. Decisions will be made by Boise School District leadership regarding evening activities, including Community Ed classes. Listen to local radio or television stations for information on weather cancellations or call the Community Education office at 208-854-4047.

Course Description
This 5-week class series from Meridian Canine Rescue will cover everything you need to know to live a happy, fulfilled life with your dog(s). Topics covered will include preventing problem behaviors through enrichment activities, how dogs learn, questions to ask when hiring a trainer, how to speak dog (dog body language), promoting healthy dog/dog interactions, how to choose the right dog for your lifestyle, how to properly introduce a new dog into your home, managing multi-pet households, promoting safe interactions with kids and dogs. NOTE: class is for people only; do not bring dog(s)!
Includes one snuffle mat per paid registration.
