Course Description
The significance of food choice on bone health cannot be denied. However, our bodies’ needs are much more varied and complex than the tall daily glass of milk that government recommendations lead us to believe. In this class we will cover which foods to reach for and which to steer clear of, but we’ll also go deeper… You will learn about the conditions of the body’s physiology that need to be met in order for calcium to be properly absorbed into the bones (examples include but are not limited to digestion and hydration). We will cover the Why and also the How — with simple recommendations you can use right away in your own life to become your strongest and most resilient self.
