Wear comfortable work out type clothes: leggings or yoga type pants, t-shirt or tank top, socks for your feet, or any smooth-soled flat shoe, such as ballet type slipper that is comfortable to dance in. Instructor will provide veils to use in class. No need to purchase or bring your own! If you are attending class at a Boise Schools location, a Community Ed site coordinator will be at the entrance to direct you to your classroom. Community Education classes MIGHT be cancelled due to inclement weather. Decisions will be made by Boise School District leadership regarding evening activities, including Community Ed classes. Listen to local radio or television stations for information on weather cancellations or call the Community Education office at 208-854-4047.

Course Description
Belly Dance (Raqs Sharqi) is an ever-evolving dance form found all over the world! It has developed into many different styles: from Classical Egyptian to American Cabaret, American and Global Caravan Tribal styles, Fusion and more! Come learn the basic moves of belly dance and add even more fun to your dance with the use of veils!
